o well. I thought they would've started PS3 production by now. Maybe they're still finalizing a few last details before making the final retail consoles. They've obviously made the units (they were even at E3) but it takes a lot of testing and tweaking to make sure everything's perfect. They'll probably start up full production in a few weeks.

There is no difference in pixels per second between 1080i and 1080p. The only difference is one is interlaced and the other is progressive. If the interlaced signal is de interlaced...it then becomes IDENTICAL to the 1080p signal. Get it?

I have an hd dvd player and my 360 games look amazing de interlaced and playing in 1080p. I will repeat. I do not want a blu ray player. I will never buy a blu ray movie.
